Verified Amazing experience! My husband, his sister and her husband, went on an eight hour excursion. The day started with us each catching mahi-mahi. Then we changed course and landed 2 white marlin, a sailfish and also had to Wahoos, but they broke off. It was an amazing day! Their crew worked their butts off! They made us Ceviche and tacos that were delicious! They were all super friendly, accommodating, and fun to be around. I highly recommend this fishing charter! You will not be disappointed!

Verified A day on the ocean Great day out on a very large boat with just our group! Fishing, snorkeling, enjoying the weather, having snacks that were prepared by the crew ceviche pico, fresh fruit! Life doesn’t get any better than that.

Verified Great boat and crew Selecting this boat was a stab in the dark that panned out. Captain seemed very knowledgeable and handled the boat with a lot of skill and confidence. The crew were very attentive, friendly and fun. I highly recommend this boat for any fishing or snorkeling out of Puerto Adventuras.

Verified Truly awesome experience This was our 2nd trip with Poverty Sucks and they always put you on the fish and are great with 1st timers that we've had with is both trips. Highly recommend them. Boat is great and the crew is even better!! Even made the best fresh ceviche with out catch!

Verified Perfect day at sea Wow! What a great trip. We did the half day fishing and caught 3 Mahi and a barracuda! The crew even made fresh ceviche on board with the Mahi my 12-year-old reeled in. The crew were awesome and were excellent with our kids---ages 12, 15, and 17. The crew worked so hard! Communication with Debby was perfect. She reached out to us when we booked and also when it got close to our trip. We will definitely book with Poverty Sucks when we come back to Mexico.

Verified Excellent Fishing Trip Had a great fishing trip with Debby and her crew in the last week of May. Mundo, Danielle and Fernando put us on to a variety of fish throughout the trip (barracuda, bonita, dorado, black fin tuna, white marlin). Very professional crew, and a great experience with some awesome memories - even of the ones that got away 🙂 Certainly recommend Poverty Sucks Fishing, and when we travel back to MX we will be booking another trip!

Verified Awesome day at sea! We had a group of 10 go out with the Poverty Sucks crew, 4 dads and 6 kids ranging 10-18. In our four amazing hours we pulled in a Barricuda, two Mahi, and 4 Sailfish. This was by far the most fish caught for us in the Caribbean, and we have been doing this for a decade on various islands. The crew was great! Super on the ball and very friendly. Debbie, our host, was on board as well and we had a great time chatting with her. We wrapped up at the docks and had the Mahi's prepared and delivered to a local restaurant for us to enjoy. Great day! When I return to the area I will be running with this crew again.

Verified Fishing trip of a lifetime!! We had the most amazing time on Poverty Sucks! The crew was knowledgeable and attentive. They went above and beyond to make your trip unforgettable. And Unforgettable it was. We caught 4 huge sail fish 1 mahi-mahi 1 barracuda 1 spanish Makrel. This charter is well worth every penny. I went out with my 13 yr old son. The crew was making sure to teach him the best way to bring in the fish. Do not hesitate to book with them.

Verified Top of the world fun Can absolutely attest to what a wonderful experience we have had on Poverty Sucks!! It is the most beautiful boat and the crew is above and beyond in friendliness as well as knowledgeable about catching what’s out there 😄. We have actually been out with them several times because with Poverty Sucks you just know you’re coming back satisfied. Also have to say if you’re lucky enough to have a day when Debby (the owner) happens to be on board, it’s a double treat 😌

After not having much luck trolling through the water, they decided to deep water fish for a while. All in all, we hauled in 1 Mahi Mahi, and a mixture of another 9 fish. The team made sure our group had an amazing time while out with them. If you want a caring excursion, book with this group!
