You can find several port amenities in our home, Puerto Aventuras, to complement your fishing experience with Poverty Sucks.
Puerto Aventuras is a beautiful gated community, located in the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is just an hour away from Cancun’s Airport and 15 minutes away from Playa del Carmen. Puerto Aventuras is also 30 minutes away from Tulum.
Built as a resort, Puerto Aventuras holds hotels and vacation rentals that receive guests from around the world all year round. A lot of American and Canadian tourists visit this destination each year. And they keep coming back!
Therefore, it is a perfect spot to spend a dreamy vacation with your family or friends. This community is also famous for hosting a lot of weddings and bachelor or bachelorette parties.

Oxxo, for example, is a 24-hour convenience store right at the beginning of the marina.
The food offered in PA goes from Mexican to Italian cuisine, from Cheeseburgers to Filet Mignon. Most places in town offer vegetarian and vegan options.
Take your catch to a restaurant in town, most of them will cook it for you for just a nominal charge.
The majority of the establishments accept credit cards but make sure to bring some cash with you just in case!
Other port amenities include a golf course, tennis court, skateboard park for kids, and Mayan ruins in Phase 4
You can find other types of businesses just outside the resort, like a supermarket, a laundry shop and more.

Because of these and many more servies we chose this location to be home of Poverty Sucks. Just walking around the marina during the sunset is a treat!
The main entrance of the complex has two lanes for visitors and you can access showing an ID and telling the guard you’re going on a fishing tour. Follow the main road to the information center and then turn to the left.
